Build a world with your hands.
Fenyora is a fantasy block world for Meta Quest 3. Mountains, caves and coastlines grow from a seed, and you shape them one piece at a time, standing inside them.
The world, the creatures, building, crafting, skills and riding are playable on Quest 3 and desktop. Quests, bosses, taming and farming come next, with persistent long term play expected around six months in and early access running about two years. Open playtests run on the Discord, anyone can join, and every clip on this site comes from one of those builds.
The world
Terrain comes from a 3D density field, so cliffs overhang and caves open where the rock is weak. Climate decides the biome, so redwood forest turns into meadow, meadow into dry lanes, and the snowfields climb into ice. A day lasts 24 minutes, weather rolls through in fronts, and where lava meets water it sets into Blackstone.
Grass and flowers
Grass tufts and gold and lilac flowers grow across the meadows, each with its own stems and leaves, drawn in their own mesh pass so a field of them costs almost nothing. Break grass for fibre and seeds, and flowers for petals and seeds, and the meadow remembers what was picked.

Squeeze to grab, let go to place, hold to break. Stone cracks in stages, wood splits along the grain, ice shatters. Your hearts sit around your wrist and the satchel opens in front of you, so nothing covers the world.
Crafting works from recipe cards. Pick up a new material and you learn what it makes, back to the bench that makes it. There are 241 recipes across six stations right now, from planks and bricks to a clockwork songbird, and a joiner's bench comes in your starting pack.

Light is worked out from the world itself. Shafts only appear where there is a real gap for the sun to get through: a ridge, a cave mouth, a doorway, a window you cut yourself. Under a roof or a canopy the ground goes properly dark, and at night fixtures and fires light a room through their own shadows.

86 species live here, 49 of them friendly. Each one sleeps, wanders and reacts in its own way, and each was drawn to be recognised at twenty metres. The glimmermoth came first, and every creature since has been judged next to it.
Farm animals give milk, wool, eggs, silk and truffles when you touch them. Hostiles fight in patterns you can learn, and a feint never lands.
Meet all 86Lunch
Three meals so far: a bento of slimecubes, a bowl of cloudram dumplings and a platter of grilled frostyak bites. You hold the dish in one hand and eat from the other, one portion at a time, and anyone standing nearby sees every bite and every crumb. Each meal heals a little more than the last.

Mounts and skills
11 species take a saddle, and each brings something different. The frostyak carries three extra satchel pages. The loamsnout digs for you. The skymanta glides, and if you step off in the air you drift down. The rule from here on is simple: if a creature has room on its back, I will try to let you ride it.
Seven skills grow as you use them: mining, woodcutting, digging, swords, axes, unarmed and riding. There is no level cap. Rare finds come in green, blue and purple, and the higher tiers open as you go.

Your character
Pick a kin: human, elf, orc, oni, dryad, and folk of bear, beetle, cow, deer, fox, frog, harpy, owl, moth, sheep, spore, stone, scale and sea. Nineteen so far. Then choose a build, colours, eyes and hair, and mix any of it with the traveller, ranger or wanderer outfit and the boots, legs, chest, shoulders and head pieces that also count as armour. Nobody is taller or shorter for their choice, so everyone fits the same doorways.

Worlds run on a server, so a friend on a laptop and a friend in a headset stand in the same field and see the same house. You can claim ground, share chests and talk in local chat, and the arena settlement already has 19 residents going about their day.

The plan
Quests are coming from the villagers who already have jobs. Bosses will live at the arena and the manor. Weapons will take traits from what creatures drop. Taming, farming, a starting valley that grows as you build, hundreds more inhabitants, and mod support through the same data files I use myself.
